Previously underestimated and undervalued, today Spinel is one of the most popular fine colored stones on the market. And we can see why. Spinel is available in a wide range of hues and tones, is nearly as durable as Sapphire, and can found in beautiful clean quality without any treatments. We deal in beautifully faceted and high-quality crystal specimens of Spinel from both Luc Yen, Vietnam and Mogok, Burma. While today a few colors of Spinel are most widely sought after, such as ‘cobalt blue’, ‘'jedi’ or ‘Man Sin’ pink, we find beauty in all the unique hues of Spinel. We carry a broad range of colors, including silvery grey, mauve, lavender, baby pink, lilac, hot pink, red, peachy pink and everything in between. In recent years, grey Spinel has soared in popularity for its understated elegance. It certainly looks like Spinel is back to stay, and we couldn’t be happier about it.
In addition to faceted Spinel, we also carry high quality, unpolished Spinel Crystals for collectors, including loose fine octahedral crystals and crystals embedded in calcite matrix.
